The Gencon® All-in-1 Headcollars with their built in lead, are made from soft yet durable fabric and are specifically designed not to pull up into your dog’s eyes or uncomfortably turn their head. This makes them the perfect lead training accessory for grown dogs and puppies. The Gencon consists of two simple loops that apply gentle pressure when your dog pulls, the lead gently but effectively stops your dog pulling forwards. One size fits all dogs and breeds. Extra Tips:
Always be prepared to reward your puppy or dog when the correct behaviour is displayed. A simple treat bag with lots of low calorie, tasty treats is very useful during training. Dogs and puppies will know that when they get rewarded, they have pleased you with their behaviour and they will look to emulate that behaviour in order to get more rewards!
Initially, reward often, every time the dog or puppy behaves correctly. The rewards can then be phased out gradually, or even changed to verbal rewards as time passes and the behaviour is more consistent. Do not under estimate the power of food when training canines.
