This illustrated Steam Ploughing & Cultivating Machinery Catalogue, No. 17, was first released in 1908 by J. & H. McClaren at Midland Engine Works, Leeds, England.
The artworks were originally engravings, and the photographs feature scenes from inside the Engine Works at Leeds as well as depictions of the current engines and implements available at the time. The introduction includes the background of steam ploughing before commencing the catalogue itself.
Each of the engines and ploughs is featured with an engraving followed by detailed descriptions and special features. Items include Compound and Single Cylinder Ploughing engines, Balance Ploughs, German Ploughs, Knifers and Vine Ploughs, Turning Cultivators, Harrows and Scoops plus many others.
Following the machinery is another section featuring other McClaren projects - Sleeping Vans, Water Carts and Pumps.

This is a reprint from the restored original - 40 pages in total. Posted in acid-free protective sleeve in document envelope and marked 'Do not bend'.
