In these episodes, the Scouts find out that Chibi-Usa's new friend Hotaru not only has another personality who possesses incredible powers, but is also the daughter of the diabolical Professor Tomoe, who, along with the Death Busters, is trying to destroy the world. Meanwhile, the Sailor Soldiers of the Outer Solar System are still dismissing Sailor Moon, but these revelations may force them to take her and her Scouts seriously. Later, Hotaru's powers grow to alarming proportions, prompting speculation that Hotaru is not only Sailor Saturn, but the fabled Sovereign of Silence, the prophesied catalyst for the destruction of the world.
