These chunky silicone anti-vibration rings possess excellent resistance to temperature extremes (-60°C to +200°C, intermittently to 250°C). They are extruded for maximum stability and do not have large irregular moulding seams like most of the shiny orange cheap immitations currently on the market. They will not melt onto your valves and they DO improve the sound substantially.

These silicone rings exhibit robust properties at high temperatures which are superior to other elastic materials,they also boast very high permeability resistance and are highly resistant to degradation by ozone and oxygen.

Highly suited for preamplifier, phono stage amplifiers, and tubed CD Player applications. They can be fitted to all Little Dot 6J1 valves, and most other tubes that have the same 18mm approx. diameter as the 6J1P / 6J1P-EV Valves, but we do not recommend these rings for Power valves such as the EL84 as they run at very high temperatures.

These medium profile flexible rings are essentially vibration absorbers which reduce external audio feedback which can cause valve microphony impairing the sound quality significantly.

Many valves can benefit from a single ring, but they can be placed inpairs or even 3 if necessary. It’s really trial and error. We recommend placing the rings from 1/3 to half way down the valve. See the Photos for guidance.

These damper rings are made to a high tolerance and should not be confused with many Chinese offerings that are not backed up by a specification and therefore may damage your valves and/or your amplifier.
