Totally classic drama hippy era coat was a trendy high fashion item in its day and you'll definitely get noticed wearing this!  A rust red (less orange than came out in some of the photos) lightweight suede (not sure if this is a suede or some sort of felt) is contrasted with a black faux fur on the wide pointed collar, down the placket on both sides, on the wide cuffs and at the hem.  Scrolled braid soutache is featured above the fur on the cuffs, and around the large, teardrop shaped pockets which extend from the waist to the thighs on each side.  Black leather bands (three) go across the coat with gold metal closures that you would more often see on a purse.  Lined in a red taffeta.  This was a popular style in the late 60s and early 70s, and expensive.  I haven't seen many of these anywhere, so grab this unique coat while you can!  A true collectors item.

In very good vintage condition, with a few small dark stains and very light soiling; just needs a drycleaning.  Section of seam at one underarm needs re-stitching.
