One of China's traditionally famous teas, Lu Shan Yun Wu is harvested from the peak of Mount Lu, a beautiful scenic spot shrouded in thick mist and a favorite holiday destination. There was a old Chinese saying "Yun Wu Chu Hao Cha", which means "where there's cloud and mist, there's bound to be good tea". Indeed, Lu Shan Yun Wu is one of China's finest, and it was already an Imperial Tribute Tea since the Song Dynasty. In recent years, new processing techniques have created new variations of Wun Yu tea. There are Chun Jian (original), Chun Mao, Mao Feng and Yin Zhen styles. We chose the latter as it is made only from the most tender tea buds.
Lushan Yunwu tea is characterized by fresh tender leaves, shaped into curly and tiny stripes resemble a little hook. a delicate jade green color and luster, lingering fragrance, and refreshingly sweet flavor, generally picks fresh leaves between Gu Yu and beginning of summer. Pick a bud and a leaf, not longer than 5 cm. Lushan Yun Wu tea due to foggy weather and short daylight conditions, such as direct effects of the formation of the leaf thickness, more pekoe, mellow and thick, sweet after taste, containing tannins, aromatic oils and vitamins are more characteristics, refreshing solution diarrhea, help digestion, disinfection and detoxification, prevent gastrointestinal infections, increased anti-scurvy and other functions. it's not only the beautiful shape and the wonderfully fresh taste.
Taste:
A very unique and lasting sweet taste with hint of fruity notes. Unlike other green teas, the sweetness is quite apparent. Good for up to four infusions. We recommend Zhong Tou style brewing for this tea (see preparation guide).
Appearance:
Single bud covered with white down. Stands upright during infusion and you will also notice some purplish leaves once the buds open slightly.
Tea Brewing Guide:
We recommend using glass-based or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Fill the tea cup 1/5 full of hot water at 70°c (158°F) to 80°c (176°F) before placing the tea leaves in. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Let the tea leaves absorb some of the water before filling the rest of the tea cup. Steep tea leaves for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
Storage:
Stored in a dry place away from sunlight, In Fridge will be better.
