American child sweethearts Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen star in this family fantasy comedy as Kelly and Lynn Farmer, twin sisters who, one Hallowe'en, make an alarming discovery about their Aunt Agatha (Cloris Leachman): she is a witch - and a wicked one at that. They quickly realise that her spells are responsible for the financial hardships of their struggling family, and that Agatha's (nice) twin sister, Aunt Sophie (also played by Cloris Leachman) has been bewitched by one of Agatha's evil spells. How can the girls retrieve Agatha's magic moon stone and put an end to her dastardly deeds?
