Description

An antique Japanese Meiji Satuma pottery teaset consisting of a teapot, three teabowls and a jug.  Each piece is decorated with figures and other emblems.  All decoration has been painted by hand.  Dates early 20th century, Meiji period.

Marks & Back stamps
Painted marks to base.
Condition

Good condition, no cracks, no repairs, no restoration.
Very small chip (nibble) to tip of spout and rim of teapot.
Occasional light staining.
Age commensurate wear / minor faults.
