Description:  This Vintage Art Nouveau Print "Ladies Garden Hollyhocks Roses" by M.Gundlach is copyright by Illinois Moulding Co. This lovely print features two ladies lounging in a formal garden. There are hollyhocks, roses, what I believe are irises and many other flowers. The garden is surrounded by trees and has a view of snow capped mountains in the distance. The colors are bright and beautiful. The artist is Max E. H. Gundlach. He was born in Germany in 1863 and immigrated to America at the age of five. He was still actively painting in 1955 at the age of 92.

History - "The Illinois Moulding Company of Chicago was founded by Hungarian immigrant Herman Molner (1866-1951) in 1896. Windsor Art Products was the art publishing division of the company, who under license would mass-produce original artists' works making "fine" art affordable to all. Herman passed away in 1951, but the company continued until about 1970."

Measures 18" W x 10" H.

Condition: Corners and edges are sharp. In very good condition.
