Just so there is no confusion, single fire means this ignition fires each cylinder independently, not at the same time like points do (except dual points), and requires two ignition coils. 

This sale is for a NEW single fire, electronic ignition for Harley Davidson Big Twin models from 1970 to 1999 and Ironhead and Evo Sportster models from 1971 to 2003.

This is an excellent ignition for replacement of old, dated, points igntions or to replacethe original HD electronic igntion systems on later models.

Extremely simple to install and no sperate module, or programming needed.

Uses 5 ohm coils. This will NOT work with single coils with three connections and 3 ohms resistance.

Will not work with EFI models or Twin Cam models. 1200s Sportsters require new coils.
