Delivery: On most items we will deliver within 24 hours. Some larger products may take 1 -3 working days.

 The goods will normally arrive during a next working day between 9am - 6pm.

 SOME ONE MUST BE THERE TO SIGN FOR THE ITEM. Please take this into consideration when ordering.

 

1.        Delivery is Mon – Friday 9am -  5:30pm (this is an all day delivery)

 

2.        You can ask for am or pm deliveries but an additional fee will be required, please call our sales staff.
 

3.        We can not leave the package without a signature.
 

4.        The package will not be delivered to alternate address if your not in. We can only supply 1 delivery address to the couriers.
 

5.        If you miss the courier, they will re-attempt the following working day. If you miss the second attempt the parcel will be held for 3 days at your local depot for collection.
 

6.        If you change the delivery address once the parcel has been dispatch, a £10 fee will be charged.

After payment is cleared 98% of all items are dispatched the same or within one business day and we send them out on a next day or 48 hour service, however please allow 3-5 business days for it to arrive. Your item will be sent via courier or Royal Mail depending on its size and weight. Please note that larger items are sent out with a pallet company and we insist that they book in the delivery with the customer as to save the customer waiting in all day, We require a working telephone number which will get answered so we can pass it on to the courier for you.

Items will usually only be delivered during normal business hours (9am-5pm) on weekdays. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours without special arrangement and the appropriate charges involved.

Where goods are sent through Royal Mail, the buyer may receive a knock on the door or a card in their letterbox indicating their item is available for pickup from their local post office. A signature is required for collection.
A re-delivery fee will be charged to buyers for items that are undeliverable and/or returned due to incorrect delivery address or unsuccessful delivery.
Please be aware that PO Boxes are not accepted as a delivery address.
Buyers have the full responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery address and mobile phone number on the checkout page before payment. Any changes to address after checkout will not be considered as valid.
The courier may require your assistance unloading from the vehicle for heavy and bulky items. Please bare this in mind when ordering the larger heavier items.

Our couriers deliver to the property entrance only.

Important- Distance selling Regulations

Under the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract within 7 days- starting from the day after you take delivery of the goods (a “Cooling off” Period). You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty.
If you wish to cancel a contract please write, fax us or e-mail us stating your details invoice number and cancellation instructions.
To cancel a contract you must give us notice within 7 days starting from the day after you receive your order.
You have a legal “duty of care” to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods to us at your expense to our address below.
If it is more convenient we can arrange collection by our couriers, any costs incurred will be deducted from your final refund. We will refund you the full amount paid for the good less any costs to collect the goods, within 30 days of receipt of notice of cancellation.
Warranty:
Most of the products we sell come with our own return to base 3 months warranty as we don't get any warranty from our all our suppliers. This does'nt mean that we don't carry all spares, we do in most cases. On other products like Senci, Clarke, Kipor We offer a 12 month or 2 year warranty. Please check with us before placing your order.
Please note that any warranty is with you the buyer, A warranty is not transferable to a 3rd party.
Please note if a Manufacturer warranty is given, then in most cases you will have to register your warranty with them. In the unlikely event that you have an issue with the product purchased then you must contact the manufacturer so they can deal with the problem under the warranty for you.

Terms and Conditions of sales

All sales are subject to the following trading terms- these terms and conditions do not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
We guarantee that the goods that we supply will be to the correct specification as advertised, however we are unable to guarantee precise compatibility or suitability. It is the responsibility of the customer to check this prior to ordering. We try to insure that all information provided is as accurate as possible.
We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason whatsoever. No order will be considered binding unless and until it is accepted by us.
All prices are quoted in £ sterling.
Payment terms are cash, paypal, credit/debit cards and cheque (subject to guarantee or clearance)
Title of the goods remains with M & T Traders Retford LTD until payment is made in full.
Delivery prices are quoted for mainland UK only – Certain areas of the highlands, Northern Scotland, Ireland and the Chanel Islands may attract a surcharge. For delivery other than mainland UK please contact us for a quote.
We will give you an estimated date of dispatch for your order. If these dates cannot be met for any reason we will try to keep you informed of any delays and when you can expect delivery. Whilst we make every effort to keep to stated delivery times we cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred as a result of a failure to meet estimated delivery dates and times.
Please check for any shortages or damages to your delivery and if possible advise us within 48 hours of the delivery . Provided that this notice is given we will arrange to collect, replace, and repair or refund the goods free of charge.
