The Dual Detection Technology works by having a pair of Detectors (set 60 mm apart from each other) on each Beam, both Detectors have to be breached simultaneously to create an activation (allowing small animals, insects, leaves & debris to safely pass by). There are a pair of detectors on each size of Beam, so the 3B-100 have three pairs whilst the 2B-100 would have two and the 1B would have one. Each pair of detectors work independently of each other resulting in the 3B-100 Beams having three chances to detect an Intruder, and creating a larger invisible perimeter.
They also have an additional Charging Port which can be used to give the Beams a boost charge should you experience a lengthy duration of low sun light, or perhaps one of the beams needs to be fitted into a slightly covered location.
They are very easy to install as they have a built in Red Glow Light (for easy lining up).
You can use up to 128 sets of Beams with this Receiver & 32 sets should you decide to add a Solar Wireless Siren (part number 004-2810).
Operating Range:
The Wireless operating range between the Beams & Receivers is 900 metres (line of sight) which can be doubled by using the signal repeater (part number 004-2910).
H/D GSM Auto-Dialler:
The KP Heavy Duty GSM Auto-Dialler is constructed with a steel case, ideal for many commercial applications or the harsher environments.
It is connected to the Wireless Receiver by a short length of bell cable (supplied) and communicates through mobile phone networks, a standard sized SIM Card needs to be fitted (you can use either PAYG or Contract).
It is very easy to program by using the built in keypad, and easy to use with the following features:
- Will send up to 3 text messages when triggered.
- Up to 5 telephone numbers can be programmed (a maximum of 32 digits).
- Will contact main key-holder in the event of a 30 minute power failure (optional).
- Remote operation (by text message).
- 4 methods of arming & disarming: (Keypad, Remote Control, Text Message, Built in Timer).
- Adjustable entry & exit delay.
- Backup battery.
- 16 wired zones.
- 16 wireless zones (allows you to fit Intruder & Safety Sensors including wireless door contacts, internal PIR's, smoke & water sensors).

The secret to using a GSM Auto-Dialler with a Perimeter Alarm is to use the Dialler as the central hub of the system, therefore any additional Sirens, Flashing Lights or Relays would be connected to the output of the Dialler (not the internal receiver), this gives you full control, even from remote locations via your mobile.
The Receiver is used for just two reasons, first to receiver the signal from all of the Detectors, the second as a useful Chime unit for when you are at home and you do not need the system Armed.

Easy Programming Method:
- Turn On Beams (switch on rear).
- Mount the Beams.
- Line up By Eye, String Line etc.
- Put the relevant Receiver into Learn Mode.
- Walk through the Beams, at this time (providing you have them correctly lined up), a low red glow will illuminate briefly.
- The Signal sent to the Receiver from this set of beams will be learned into the relevant receiver.
- Take the Receiver out of learn mode.
- The system is now ready.
