Basic instructions:

Select your heatproof bowl and decide on whether you will use a microwave or double boiler to heat your soap base. Weigh out however much soap base you require as well as any colourants or fragrances that you have chosen. Cut your melt and pour soap base into chunks and heat slowly (30 secs at a time if using a microwave) until melted. Try not to boil the soap base, overheating isn't great for the finished product. Add your fragrances and colours, and pour into moulds. Once set, remove from your mould and wrap in cling film to prevent moisture loss.
