  When the items have different postage prices, you pay only the highest postage (for example - if postage for the first item is 1,85 €, and  postage for the second item is 3,80 €, you pay only once postage for both items - 3, 80 €).

   WHY: you buy two items - one can be shipped in a 50 mm height shipping box and the other in  a 20 mm height shipping box. I can ship the 20 mm height product together with the 50 mm height product in a 50 mm height shipping box (see Deutsche Post conditions), but, for obvious reasons, both items cannot be shipped together in a 20 mm shipping box. That's why you  pay the postage for the 50 mm height item.
