Die Mischung aus Forchinos großen Sinn für Humor, mit einem starken Hauch Ironie verbunden, haben zur komischen Kunst Forchinos geführt. Der gebürtige Argentinier verfügt über großes handwerkliches Können und über einen liebevoll-humoristischen Blick auf die Welt. Wegen seiner Kreationen voll Witz und Ironie ist der Pariser Künstler Guillermo Forchino in Frankreich einer der bekanntesten Cartoonisten. Seine Skulpturen arbeitet er Stück für Stück persönlich und von Hand aus porzellanartigem, kunstharzgebundenem Steinguss. Anschließend werden die Objekte aufwendig von Hand bemalt, signiert und einzeln nummeriert! Jedes dieser Guillermo Forchino Produkte ist zur Sicherheit in einem Styroporblock verpackt, dann in einem einzigartigem Forchino Zeitungspapier eingeschlagen und mit einem Spezialetikett versehen. Auf dem Etikett und der Unterseite jeder Skulptur ist wiederum die einmalige Nummerierung für jedes seiner Werke vermerkt. In jeder Verpackung befindet sich eine Broschüre mit der Biografie des Künstlers, sowie ausgewählte Abbildungen der Gesamtkollektion. Jedem Werk liegt ein nummeriertes Zertifikat bei, um die Echtheit des jeweiligen Guillermo Forchino Produktes zu dokumentieren.

All replicas are handmade and painstakingly hand-painted. Frequently supervised and controlled by Mr. Forchino himself. All items are individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of originality with the same unique number. All replicas are produced in limited editions. All items, except for the special edition Professionals, are wrapped in the “The Forchino Times “ newspaper , along with the autobiography of Mr. Forchino and several pictures of his collection. Often, Guillermo writes a little story describing the artwork, which is then also included. To protect the artworks during transportation, each item is packed in a custom-made styrofoam block, the wrapped block is packed in a brown cardboard box.
A little story about this COMIC ART SCULPTURE
Raul Mayo has always been fascinated by cars. As a boy, he collected all the miniature cars he could find in toy stores or flea markets. His best memory was a little car of silver metal not larger that a match box. He loved it. He named it “the Silver Arrow.” When he rubbed it on the ground, it took off like a rocket. The car was marvelous, sensational. Unfortunately, he lost it during one of his house moves.
Teenager, he got a job as delivery boy at the town’s most prestigious car dealer, his only goal was to be next to luxury cars. Today, a number of years have passed. Raul has succeeded very well and he has been able to buy himself some very expensive collector’s cars at auctions, reassembling all the models which he had always dreamed of. But there is still one which is missing, one that he will never be able to find, the most beautiful and the most extraordinary of all of them, the “Silver Arrow.”
