about Delvaux: In 1829, a year before Belgium gained independence from Holland, Charles Delvaux founded what would become the world's oldest luxury leather-goods company. After nearly 200 years in existence, Delvaux continues to make bags in small runs that are signed by their master craftsmen. Its bags are not only classic and contemporary, but forward-looking. The company has forged collaborations with a number of noted designers, including Bruno Pieters, the model Hannelore Knuts and the Belgian avant-gardist Natalia Brilli. It recently hired Veronique Branquinho as artistic director, who described Delvaux as a legendary brand with a great history. |

This classic and contemporary 13-1/2" x 11" x 5" black double-handle black leather shoulder bag, is made in Belgium by Delvaux, the world's oldest luxury leather goods company. They continue to make bags in small runs that are signed by their master craftsmen. The double leather straps allow a 12" hang length from your shoulder to the top of the bag. There is a deep zippered pocket on the front of the bag under the flap. The flap closes over the top of the bag with a magnetic catch on the front. The inside of the bag has two slip pockets; two pen holders; and a claw-type fastener that can be used for easy access to your keys. The pebbled leather is soft and durable. This bag is pure elegance and will go anywhere, with anything. There is an accompanying leather covered mirror in the same finish as the bag. It is in like-new pristine condition and will be shipped with a Bottega Veneta storage bag (not pictured). Guaranteed authentic.
