Here is a magnetic edition of one of the greatest games in recent times. The idea is so simple, it is amazing just what complexities and strategies take hold once the players start to really think!

AN INGENIOUS GAME

Played on a simple 8 x 8 square board, the playing pieces are black on one side and white on the other. On each turn, a player puts a piece down, showing his/her designated color, and flipping any of the opponents' pieces caught in the newly made line. Pieces flip, back and forth many times, until no more moves are possible -- at that point, the player with the most pieces is declared the winner!

A QUALITY MAGNETIC SET

This is a good qualitY magnetic folding set. 
The board has a printed metal surface; it measures 9 1/2 inches on each side.

The pieces are plastic, with a magnet in each piece.
They measure 2.4 cm (about 1 inch) in diameter. 
The magnets are strong enough to keep the pieces in place, but still allow the pieces to be lifted or slid on the board with no extra effort. Note that the pieces keep their positions if the board is tipped.

RULES INCLUDED

The rules are printed on a small insert that comes with the set. They are also printed on the back of the box. You can learn this game in about 2 minutes.
