Die Hauptaspekte liegen in der Balance zwischen Aerodynamischer Effizienz und Lufteingangstemperatur. Es wurde ein offenes System gewählt allerdings mit Unterschieden zu anderen Airboxen aus dem Zubehör. Das ist an der Form des Carbongehäuses sowie der Position und Form des Luftfilters zu erkennen. Durch den umgedrehten kegelförmigen Filter, welcher zusätzlich von Kohlefaser ummantelt ist, kommt es zu dem sogenannten Venturi Effekt. Durch den entstehenden gleichmäßig laminaren Luftstrom ist ein Leistungszuwachs von +15 PS realistisch. Die Airbox wird im Prepreg-Carbon-Verfahren hergestellt.
