This collection of six Chinese thimbles is decorated with enamel in cloisonne style, where the enamel is separated by strips of flattened wire. The decoration shows various scenes including birds and flowers. One of the thimbles has opaque panels between the wire work. They are works of art. 

A single example sold for nearly £40 (including p+p) on ebay recently.
