This Empire measuring tape features a full length stainless steel blade and spring, preventing rust and reducing wear over the life of the tape. The double sided measuring tape can be used for horizontal measurements, whilst the vertical reading rear side of the blade can be used for vertical measurements.

The single sided non-magnetic hook is designed for ease of use in tight spaces and to prevent catching on objects and obstructions. The pressure sensitive lock can be used to slow blade retraction, or to lock the blade fully when measuring.
