Nice color and contrast on these spalted pieces. Unusual wood  from the Adirondacks for an unusual project. Great for project embellishments, pen blanks, or any application which requires "nature's work of art" in the material.  I see a lot of  spalted wood most every day and this is very nice. The type of wood that jewelers and artists look for.   These have been air dried slowly using dehumidificaton at room temperatures.  They could be ripped on the bandsaw to make stunning book matched pieces.  Great picture frame stock.  Planed on 4 sides and ready for finish sanding.   I have described these pieces as best I can but you may have a question.....I'll be happy to answer questions you may have.  I want to be sure that you get what you are looking for.
