This KP9 4G GSM Wireless Burglar Alarm C Kit 'Pro' is designed to be used in applications where small animals (under 10 KG) are present.

The kit is supplied with the following (although up to 93 additional wireless sensors can be added):

• 1 x 4G Panel.
• 1 x Magnetic Door Contact (can be used on doors or windows).
• 1 x Pet Friendly PIR (under 10 KG).
• 2 x Remote Controls (for arming and disarming the alarm).

This Alarm operates on 2G, 3G & 4G Networks !!

Pet Friendly:

The PIR is designed to be used in a room where small animals (under 10 KG) could be present, but customers should put thought into this as you may have two or three small animals all under 10 KG but collectively they may total well above, and collectively they may run around together generating lots of heat. If in doubt it is sometimes safer to use Magnetic Contact or Vibration Sensor (please contact us for advice).

Other methods to use an Alarm with Animals is to have PIR's in a room that are only active at times when the Animals is not present, popular with Dog owners as they can restrict to area that the Dog has access to during the times when the Alarm is armed and the animal is present (during the day for example whilst the owners are at work). Then when the owners are out with the Dog the Alarm is set in full covering the area where the Dog would normally be present. 

This GSM Alarm will contact key-holders by Telephone & Text Message at the same time as activating the built in Siren & External Wireless Siren.

This package is ideal for small premises or as a base to build a larger system to suit your own needs, and is suitable for both DIY or professional Installations.

SIM Card:

The Alarm communicates via the mobile phone networks (sim card required), and uses a standard size (not micro) SIM Card (PAYG or Contract). It will contact up to three key-holders by Telephone (with your own pre-recorded message) & Text Message when activated.

We do offer a SIM Cards from a third party supplier (at cost) designed for use in Alarms & Tracker Systems, these are low level contract sim cards (working on a direct debit) operating over all the major UK Networks ensuring your Alarm has the best signal available in all locations. 

This can be selected within the drop down options near the Add to Card Button.

You can also purchase the product with no sim card and simply use your preferred supplier (many options are available).

Communication:

When the KP9 GSM Panel calls key-holders by Telephone, the key-holders have the option to:

• Press * on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but remain fully armed.
• Press # on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but will disarm the panel.

Wireless Siren:

The large A4 size External Wireless Siren is very loud, and is powered by a Plug in Transformer (supplied) which can be plugged into any spare socket as the signal from the control panel is completely wireless, it also has a built in backup battery. The Transformer is operating on a low 12v DC supply therefore the cable length can easily be extended to make installation easier in some applications. The Siren also has Flashing LED's when in standby which alerts potential Intruders to the presence of an active Alarm.

Remote Controls:

The two Remote Controls supplied can be used to control the alarm from up to 20 - 30 metres away, so you can arm and disarm the Alarm from outside the building.

The range between the accessories and control panel is normally around 50 metres (line of sight) which equates to 20 - 30 metres in most applications, for locations requiring further range a Signal Booster can be added.

Sirens:

The built in Siren & External Wireless Siren can be programmed to operate between 1 second to 16 minutes when activated, it can be turned off before this time by the owner using a Remote Control or build in Keypad, it can also be used in Silent mode for chosen zones (often used in silent mode when activated by a panic button).
