Vintage Concord USA USAF CWU MA-2 Flying Bomber MADE in USA Army Flight Jacket MA2 MA1 XL

The MA-2 bomber jacket (also known as the MA-2 flight jacket or CWU-45 flight jacket) is an advanced version derived of the original MA-1 bomber jacket that was originally designed for the American military during the 1950s. CWU stands for "Cold Weather Uniform."

Concord USA’s CWU MIL-SPEC flight jacket is made to a military specification and ideal for those seeking durable construction, warmth, and authenticity. The CWU jacket features a water repellent rayon/ nylon outer shell, paired with two layered quilted nylon/polyester interlinings. The knit cuffs, waistband, and front zipper closure with storm flap ensure that you'll stay warm and dry. The CWU flight jacket silhouette is still issued to USAF and Navy pilots today.

Used and generally in good vintage condition. There is some pilling inside the jacket towards the hem and the velcro on the front pockets is not as strong as it once was. Some tarnishing to the zip puller. Please note there is a smell of smoke to this jacket, it could really do with a dry clean to remove should this be an issue. Please see all pictures.

Size: XL with a 50" full external chest measurement. This jacket also could fit a size L if you wanted a boxy fit (please see below for all key measurements to check against a similar garment of your own to ensure a good fit).
