$95.00Our Mace billet short shifter is the way to go if you’re looking at upgrading from the sloppy and worn stock gear stick. Specifically designed to suit all commodores fitted with the Getrag 290 M34 5 speed manual transmission. This performance shifter is guaranteed to make your drive more pleasant and satisfying. The 30-40% reduction in throw combined with precision gear engagement will provide the ultimate race-like feel without affecting drive-ability or the need to change your driving habits.
Factory shifter height and position is unchanged and it also has the ability to retain the factory gear knob and some aftermarket knobs (which do not have an internal thread). If unsure, please contact us to confirm.
Sometimes, excitement can get the better of us and an over-shift is unavoidable, therefore our billet shifters are equipped with fully adjustable positive stops to ensure gear crunching and synchro abuse is kept at a minimum if not, completely eliminated. Lastly, the striking chrome plating is second to none, eradicating any chances of rust and corrosion. Installation is fairly simple as long as you have access to a basic set of tools and jack stands.
This shifter comes with a lifetime warranty.

Returns Policy
At Mace Engineering Group, we take great care in packaging of your products appropriately to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition. If for any reason your product is damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately to arrange for the return of your product(s) within 14 days. We will then provide you with a replacement product as soon as possible.
If you receive a product with manufacturing defect, it must be returned within 14 days. After appropriate testing, if it is found that the defect is due to misuse, willful damage, unauthorized repair or tampering with the product by the customer, return will not be accepted by Mace Engineering Group. Strictly no returns/refunds will be given due to buyer's change of mind or remorse. This is in compliance to the ACCC warranties and refunds.
Re-Stocking Fee & Refunds
If a purchased item is returned due to buyer's remorse or misorder, 10-15% re-stocking fee will be applicable at our discretion, depending on the item.
Paypal has changed its refund policy and will no longer refund the fees deducted for the original transaction, therefore, Mace Engineering Group will deduct the 2% fee while making a partial or full refund other than the restocking fee, if applicable
Postage cost is non-refundable.
Domestic Orders
- Orders typically take 1-2 business days to prepare and process prior to dispatch.
- Freight may take 1-7 business days from the date of dispatch to delivery within Australia.
- Orders can also be picked up directly from us on business days. Please email us.
- Orders are neither dispatched nor delivered on weekends.
International Orders
- Shipping will be calculated automatically based on the delivery address.
- Orders outside of Australia may take up to 10 days.
- You will be responsible for any applicable taxes and/or duties and will need to be paid upon delivery.

Product Warranty
Mace Engineering Group products are covered by a 1 year warranty, unless otherwise specified in the ad or written agreement from Mace Engineering Group.
Terms of Warranty
Customer must return the defective item(s) first, with a full description of the problem. Appropriate tests will be conducted to determine the authenticity of the defects and claims. Once, Mace Engineering Group is satisfied, identical items(s) will be sent out to the customer.
Please ensure proper packaging of the product to prevent any damage while in transit, as goods are at owner's risk.
