Material Flexible Rubber Type 2 part (rubber with separate adhesive) Fitment Check tank size against dimensions below Height: 20 cm Width (Top): 13.5 cm Width (Bottom): 5.5 cm Thickness: 2 mm approx. Nice rubber tank protection pad A brilliant addition to your bike Tank pad installation guide: 1. This is to be done in dry and warm weather or inside your garage. 2. Place the pad on the tank (don’t peel yet) and mark the positions with paper tape. 3. Properly clean the back of the pad. 4. If your adhesive is separate then peel one side and attach to the pad first. Allow 24 hrs for good adhesion. This is important so the sticky layer stays attached to the pad when you peel the other side 5. Move your bike on centre stand. 6. Crucial step: Use IPA cleaner to clean the tank of grease, wax, polish etc. if you don’t do it properly the pad won’t stick well. 7. Do not use petrol or methylated spirits as they do leave a very thin layer of grease. 8. Use a hair dryer or a heat gun to slightly warm the pad up 9. Now peel the second side and apply the pad to the tank (within the paper tape markers) 10. Apply the pad gradually ensuring it is within your marked area 11. Do not press it hard straight away – this will allow you to make minor adjustments 12. Once completely satisfied with the position then press and ensure every side is stuck on and air is driven out 13. The adhesive needs time to settle and dry – ideally 24 hrs so don’t ride straight away [Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter] (http://www.auctiva.com/?how=acfcounter)
