The instrument clusters manufacturers started to use MSOP-8 size EEPROM to store the data on. Using this tool is simplifying the way of dealing with this tiny EEPROMs. Just position, press and hold the spear point over the EEPROM pins and read any 93xx, 25xx, 95xx series SMD in-circuit!  This is your time saver, no needs to solder wires to PCB points, especially when you don't know where the points are and do work onsite with no reach to reworkstation! This adapter is helpful if you need to program an EEPROM on 2011+ instrument clusters / speedometers of Toyota, Honda, Acura, Нуundai and Jeep. The application is not limited to these manufacturers.
