What do I think?

  • Family fun for all ages. Our son has played a variety of games from the BrainBox range and he loves them. They are great games to play with all generations - so far, from 5 to 82 year olds!

  • Games have lasted from the recommended 10 minutes to 52 minutes (phew). Initially, we found the 10 second timer a little fast for our son and have instead timed ourselves for 30 seconds. We've also played it without a timer - just stop as soon as the first person shouts "ready!" This actually increases the suspense and usually ends up with someone getting the giggles.

  • The boxes are lovely and sturdy and a neat size, making them great as a travel game. We've taken them camping and they've survived completely intact.

  • They are such creative and inspiring games, with plenty of opportunity for extension activities. So far we've made a 3D cube, designed a new sweet for Willie Wonka's factory and invented our own silly drinks straw (I don't think we'll be making any money out of that one!)

  • Brilliant fun!
