Beautiful dinnerware by Pickard China is a welcome accent to your table. This salad plate features and ivory center, black rim and silver accents. The plate measures 8" across. If you look very closely at the silver pattern crescent shaped overlay, it looks like the number 2000 over and over again. When I wrote to Pickard China and asked them what the pattern name was, the response was "The china you have shown in the photos is a Pickard China custom ordered pattern and not a standard retail pattern offering. If your china was a standard retail pattern, the pattern name would have been included within the text of the back stamp. We do a lot of one off custom china services in our Food Service division as well one off custom china services for interior decorators and their clients. High-end, short run, custom china services is something Pickard is known for with the fine china industry.". This plate is in good condition free from chips, cracks and crazing.
