8-season set. Discs have no scratches or have some scratches but play fine. One box set may have a missing slipcase.

Indicators of bootleg DVDs:

1. Check their other items for sale. Small sellers (with fewer than 100 items for sale, with a few hundred feedback) are selling everything new in large quantity (endless supplies so it is not a one-time gift). You have to wonder where they get their inventories. Stealing from big box stores? That is a crime. Counterfeiting? That is also a crime.

2. Read their negative ratings. Very likely you see reports on counterfeiting. They have to start over to have a new account when there are a few such reports. That is why their ratings are rarely over 1000.

3. The newer repackaged versions are more likely to be counterfeit because they need fewer materials to make and they are lighter to ship (This is very important for those counterfeiters because international shipping is very costly). In this case, the one-box newer version is much more cost-effective to make than the 8-case original version. As a rule, the original release is often safer to buy than the repackaged version.

4. If you cannot resist the low price and order from them, very likely the DVDs are shipped from overseas because that is where they are counterfeit. As late as 2019, they were allowed to sell to America directly from oversees. After that was banned, they claimed to be US sellers. They may live in America but the DVDs are shipped from abroad. The boxes are low quality, and more importantly the discs skip or freeze.

5. You may think other people's loss if your gain but those scammers are not losing. You are losing because bootleg DVDs have no resale value. One advantage of buying DVDs over making subscriptions is DVDs can be resold. You can get some of your money back if you sell your authentic used ones.
