Check Out this Fantastic Recreation of the  Gretsch Model 6076 Electric 12 String

This Model 6076 12-String was hand crafted and has the quality and detail of the guitar just as it would have left the Gretsch factory late in 1965. The original guitar construction was started in 1965, but possibly not finished until early in 1966. A meticulous recreation of a one-of-a-kind guitar that was custom-made for wool hat wearing guitarist from the hit TV series about an imaginary band that soon became a real one. The Gretsch Model 6076 Electric 12-String Electric guitar went into production in 1966 and was a 16” wide body and a Sunburst finish, designated as the Model 6075. The production Model 6076 was a naturalfinish, and also was a 16” body. This Model 6076 has a naturalfinish, 17” wide hollow body, true f-holes, mute switch and backpad. It is a one-of-a-kind recreation of that “one-of-a-kind”guitar made famous in the 60's.

The body is made from choice laminated maple finished in a na
tural/clear Nitrocellulose lacquer, then buffed and shined to perfection. The neck has a Fat "C" profile that's ideally suited to the12-string format, and features an Ebony fretboard. The tailpiece was custom made to replicate the original 'G' Cutout. The bridge was handcrafted from Ebony and is an exact replica of the bridge shipped withthe original guitar. A vintage style string mute and back pad ring inthe detail of this beauty. The electronic control positions have beenre-created to match the original guitar. Comes with hardshell case that is an exact reproduction of the case as made by Gretsch in 1965. A pair of 6 on a plate gold tuners and TV Jones Super Trons give thisguitar the ultimate in aesthetics and playability.
