Offered for your consideration is an fine, older Felix Solingen 6" cheese and/or party knife. This is a scarce and versatile model with a built-in serving fork tip.  Felix Solingen has been in business since 1843 and the quality of their knives is comparable to J.A. Henckels and Wusthof.  Like Henckels and Wusthof, Felix is also located in Solingen, Germany.  It offers full measures of the fine German quality and craftsmanship that built Solingen's reputation as one of the world's premier cutlery centers.

The knife has seen only light use and remains in excellent condition with no problems.  It has not been buffed or polished and remains original.  In fact, the original handle sticker remains intact as shown.

This is a fine, premium-quality knife with a great look.  The blade has a slow taper and offers no flexibility. The blade shows no visible signs of having been sharpened and it's free of any errant grind marks or sharpening abrasions.  The etched marking remain fully visible bold with great contrast against the deeply mirrored finish.  It appears to have been only very lightly and carefully honed.  The front side of the blade has a pattern of etched circles in various sizes to reduce sticking/binding.  The edge is free of any cracks, chips, dings, or damage with just a bit of normal light wear. The blade remains fairly sharp and the knife is ready for immediate use, although a quick touch-up would help to achieve top performance.  The serving tips are intact and original with no blunting, burrs, or damage. The handle is of laminated hardwood and it's free of any cracks, chips, gouges, or damage with just some normal light wear.  The thick scales were tightly pinned and the handle remains rock-solid.  It's free of the dishwasher damage that's so common to wood handles with just a bit of sink washing water exposure as shown.

The knife measures 11-1/2" in overall length.

This piece would be a great replacement or spare for someone with an old set. It would also be great as a stand-alone knife for anyone who appreciates fine, German-made cutlery.

A very nice, original example of this premium-quality German-made knife in a scarce pattern!
