  • Cup Description - The Curry ZM cup (usually marked "M" on the mouthpiece) has proven to be an excellent "crossover" mouthpiece for those players who need to play both classical and jazz. Slightly shallower than the C cup, it's medium cup has enough tone to satisfy most classical needs, yet is bright enough to play parts in a big band.
Engineered like no other mouthpiece, the Curry Standard Line incorporates the same rim and bite point on the shallowest to the deepest cup within each diameter. This feature gives you the freedom to select the right cup for the job without having to get used to a different rim.

There is a gradual reduction of undercut, or initial slope into the main, or 1st cup, from the deeper B cup, to the shallow XS cup. This feature reduces the volume of the 1st cup. It also allows for more support in the upper register and a progressively brighter sound. The 2nd cup is the convex portion of the cup that connects the 1st cup with the bore, or drill hole. Second cup dimensions are especially critical in determining resistance, definition of attacks, as well as the overall character and timbre of sound. Second cup dimensions in the Curry standard line are consistent throughout each diameter, so that a relatively shallow 3Z has many of the same sound characteristics as the deeper 3C or 3B cups.

We paid to ship the item to you, the cost is simply embedded in the selling price of the item. If you return the item we will refund you the selling price less the cost of shipping the item to you.

Please contact us within 3 days of the end of the sale to avoid any confusion. Payment is required within 7 days. If other arrangements are not made, an Unpaid Item Dispute will be filed to retrieve our fees from eBay.

We will ship by US Postal First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation for price listed in the ad.

The US Postal Service estimates 3 to 7 days delivery however, this is an estimate only, not a guarantee.

Shipping charges do not include any special processing, or packing materials requested by the customer.

  1. Find the item in My eBay and select Return this item from the More actions drop-down menu.
  2. Select the reason for the return. Depending on the seller's return preferences, we may put you in touch with the seller directly.
  3. If the seller uses eBay hassle-free returns or chooses to use an eBay-generated shipping label, we provide you with a return shipping label and packing slip. If a shipping label isn't available for the item, we ask you to contact the seller about alternative shipping arrangements. The seller may also provide you their own shipping label.
  4. Pack the item carefully. Include the packing slip, apply the shipping label, and send the item back to the seller. You must return the item within 5 business days of requesting the return. It's a good practice to include tracking information when returning an item.
  5. If an eBay-generated shipping label is used, you can track the status of the returned item in the Purchase history section of My eBay. Find the returned item and click View return details from the More actions drop-down menu.
  6. SPECIAL ORDER. All Gold Mouthpieces are plated to order when you purchase your mouthpiece.
  7. GOLD Mouthpiece RETURNS are subject to a 30% restocking fee due to the custom nature of this order. Please order carefully with this in mind.

Returned items must be returned in such a condition that they can still be sold as new items, including the product-specific packaging such as mouthpiece boxes. All returned items must be unblemished, with no nicks, dents, gouges, scrapes, and/or scratches. Any damaged returns will be charged a minimum 50% fee (in addition to any applicable re-stocking fee).

Except in the case of an error on our part, ALL shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Except for error on our part or damage in shipping, all returned mouthpieces will be assessed a 10% per item cleaning/restocking fee.

If a credit is issued due to our error, please allow 2 weeks for refunds to post. Please note some banks can take up to one full billing cycle to post your credit. Consult your banks policies for more information.
