Description:  This Vintage Original Advertising Box for "Vassarette" - Women's Under Garment Box has great picture of women doing different sports activities. The black background color is dramatic and accents the other colors of red & white. The center picture has a woman walking with her red skirt flared so you can see her underwear. There is a glare on box because it is in a plastic protecting covering. 

History - The company, headquartered in Minneapolis, designed and manufactured a wide variety of undergarments for men, women and children. Their collection documents the availability and use of a variety of fabrics--silk, lace, synthetics and rubber--in the underwear industry from the 1880s to the 1980s.
