A substantial original Ford shop manual for the 1962 U.S. Ford Galaxie and Galaxie 500 vehicles. It is titled the "1962 Ford Galaxie car shop manual" and was published by the Ford Motor Company in the USA in November 1961. It is a comprehensive guide to the maintenance and repair of the U.S. manufactured Ford Galaxie cars of this year and has 496 pages of step-by step instructions with illustrations of the various car components. The sections of the manual include engines & exhaust systems, ignition system, fuel system,
cooling system, clutch and manual transmission, automatic transmission,
wheels, tires, chassis, suspension, steering brakes, electrical system,
lights, instruments and accessories, body, doors etc. This old 1962 Ford Galaxie cars shop manual is in solid original condition showing heavy wear from use. The cover pages are quite tatty and show heavy surface wear, scuffs, creases, dirty marks and there are some large tears in the covers that have been taped up at some point. The binding is still OK although the inner pages are starting to come loose. The inside pages show some creases, stains and dirty marks. A few inside pages have tears and small holes. There is some writing on the covers and some inside pages. The manual is quite heavy and measures approx 10 1/2 by 8 inches in size. ABOUT
