This auction is group of 34 hand painted solid metal soldiers made in German by the Heyde company, early 1900's. They came in a large lot with several other bands. I believe I was able to sort them out to their respective groups. As noted above in the condition report, they are in very played with condition. The average marching soldier is about 2 inches, or about 52 mm. There are 17 marching soldiers with rifles (actually, rifle butts, all rifles are broken). 1 guy with a fancy yellow plume helmet and sword, and 4 other sword guys (3 missing their swords, all have scabbards). 8 marching guys with instruments (small drum, big drum, cymbals, trombone(?), 4 horn things. One marching flag bearer. One mounted soldier. 2 seated guys (I don't have anything for them to sit on, in the picture I put them on a piece of lumber). I didn't have enough pictures to show closeups of each of the 17 marching guys, so I just showed 4 representative ones. Payment: All buyers, per eBay policy I can only accept PayPal as a payment method for all auctions. Payment is due within 4 days from the end of the auction. If your payment is not received in this time period then the automated eBay unpaid assistant takes over. If you need longer to pay just let me know.
Handling time: I do my best to mail packages out the day after I get payment. If I receive payment before 9:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (U.S.) I will have it in the mail the next day, except for Sunday because U.S. Post Offices are not open on Sunday.
U.S. Shipping: I use First Class (up to 16 oz) and Priority mail after that. Books ship media mail. I only charge actual postage - no added fees. I combine multiple items won by the same person the same day and charge actual postage. If you're looking to buy other items not ending yet just let me know and I'll hold the shipment to combine them for you. I use lots of bubble wrap and peanuts and good boxes. In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually. When there is an original box or other original paper item I put that into a plastic bag in case you get delivery on a rainy day.
International Shipping: I gladly ship international. First Class International is available up to 4 pounds in weight, after that it has to be Priority mail which is expensive. Please note that there can be lengthy delays at Customs. Per eBay rules, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges -- these charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Return Policy: Returns are accepted within 30 days, so long as item is returned in the condition that it was in when it was sold. If the item was misrepresented I will refund the postage both ways. If the item was not misrepresented, I will refund the purchase price only -- not the shipping paid to get it to you, or for you to return it. I use a loupe to examine the toys while I'm listing them, and I try and mention the significant condition issues that I can see. I value my eBay reputation and I am not knowingly going to put out false or misleading info on a toy -- if I'm wrong about a fact about the toy I'll refund your money.
