- This unique yarn is a skilful blend British breeds, in its natural undyed form. It is a fine tribute to the sheep, found all over the hills and glens of Scotland.

quality, four fold yarn, with relatively high twist, helps prevent
shedding and pilling, adding durability to your finished woolly
creation, without compromising on looks and softness. I would describe it as crispy and bouncy, but not scratchy.
- Four fold construction also makes for good stitch definition.
- The perfect colour to show off cabled patterns and textured stitches to maximum effect.
- Ideal for indi-dyers, to make graduated sets.
- As with most good quality wool yarns, this wool will soften and fluff up after its first wash. I would be happy to wear this wool next to my skin, but everyone is different.

- Everyone's tension/gauge is different, but I knit this yarn on 4.00mm needles (USA 6) and I get 20 stitches and 28 rows to a 4" (10cm) square.

- This listing is for 500g of yarn, supplied in twenty skeins, all from the same dye lot.
- Approximate length per 25g = 70 yards (approx. 63m), so you will receive 1400 yards (1260m) in total.
