The Jettribe UR-20 Side Entry Vest. This vest is an excellent all-around vest for free riding, freestyle, closed course racing, offshore endurance racing and naturally, for recreation PWC riding as well.
As of 2017 the Jettribe UR-20 Side Entry Vest has the incorporated pre-molded foam unique only to our Jettribe race vests. What is it? The pre-formed mold adds the ultimate in flexibility to conform to the contour of the rider’s body, instead of forcing a flat piece EVA foam to wrap around a rider’s body. Plus, our second process is heat and pressure compression, this allows us to take a 4-inch EVA foam panel and compress it down to a 2 inch thickness. This process allows for a lighter and more comfortable race vest with maximum flotation.
The UR-20 side entry vests utilize an ink fusion technology, instead of traditional silkscreen ink. The ink fusion wraps and dyes the color around the yarn and fibers of the materials. This allows for a smooth, soft, feel to the vest. And, it will never crack or dry out like the screen printed inks.
We are especially proud of the UR-20. We have taken the best of all vests and built into this one vest. Every minute detail has been carefully considered. For example, all of the webbing are tacked down with a zig-zag bar tack, rescue handles are wrapped underneath, then bar tacked, then finished off with a box stitch. All webbing exit openings are reinforced with a TPR collar for durability. Most of these details are over-looked by others, but not by the Jettribe design team.
Our Jettribe race vests have been proven with top professional racers throughout the world. Some of the features that separate our vest from the rest are: triple rescue handles, back protection compatible, triple 38mm buckles and webbing , interchangeable velcro flag patches and removable heavy duty PWC lanyard D-ring. Plus, the rear race collar attachment.
Jettribe designed and developed this vest using the best materials available. We do recommend that riding equipment be replaced every two seasons. If there are any signs of fading, discoloration or drying out of the materials - please, replace it right away. Sun, water, wet, dry, or salt water are hard on any materials.
