This thing will work great with an XRGB Mini, a Scart to Component/ Scart to HDMI converter, or RGB Monitor like a Sony PVM or NEX XM29.  This is compatible with 100% of the N64's library, and will be the last Nintendo 64 you ever need to purchase.
