Apparently this was a 50th anniversary commemorative re-issue of a 1944 military watch. If it was worn, it wasn't worn very much because it is in great condtion. It is a manual wind watch and it is running smoothly. The box and suede lined leather and canvas pouch are in really nice condition as well. It looks like the only thing missing is the Smithsonian paperwork and warranty info. Email with questions. Thanks for looking.
