Amazing time-capsule Symphonic "Minni" TV, fully working, near-mint condition, with original box and fold-out 6 page owners guide. I have tested this thoroughly, as much as is possible without any actual signal for it to pick up, and all functions appear to be working, brightness and volume work across all ranges of function on the knobs, channel knob clunks through all the channels just like the good old days (after midnight when there were no stations broadcasting!), and the UHF in particular seems to be working hard to find a signal. I was hoping to re-create some episode of "The Twilight Zone" and pick up the signals from news programs still floating out there from the 1960s, nothing so far, but maybe the next owner will have better luck!
The battery compartment is absolutely clean and shows no signs of use (see photos), while the bottom of the TV has a name and a social security number scratched into it (this was a pricey item in its day). The graphics on one side of the box are damaged (see photos) but all other sides are clean and undamaged (including the bottom, not shown). The inner box for the TV unit is still there, but there would have also been another inner box for the plug/charger unit, but it is missing.
There were apparently at least two variations, this one with the fold-flat plastic handle, and another with a chromed bar handle, I do not know which is the earlier but I believe this one probably is.
