Camcorder is in great working condition Almost mint, only the handle with pu leather coating is peeling tipical vintage pu leather problem with this model.
It plays Digital8 , HI8 and Regular 8 formats!!!

Camcorder has PAL system .So it records only in PAL system !
But plays PAL and NTSC formats . Also to watch PAL or NTSC cassettes on NTSC TVs , you need converter from PAL to NTSC, but some newer TVs have both systems . 
With older TVs without converter camcorder will show with black and white image .
But on LCD screen of camcorder the image all the time is color
