                   Camcorder has PAL system .So it records only in PAL system !!
But plays PAL and NTSC formats . Also to watch PAL or NTSC cassettes on NTSC TVs , you need converter from PAL to NTSC, but usually all newer TVs have both systems . 
With older TVs without converter camcorder will show with black and white image .
