1) 3 PAGE 1984 COMIC PREVIEW : This is an item so rare I’d never even seen it before in 20 years of  Transformers collecting ! It consists of a 3 page interview with pictures with the creators of the original comic and explains the creative process and contains some surprising facts, eg that it was Marvel Comics who came up with all the characters names and up until the very last moment they were going to be called something entirely different (Who’s Blow-Out ????)

2) THE ENTIRE BACK CATALOGUE OF ALL 332 UK & 80 US FULL COLOUR TRANSFORMERS  COMICS (1984 -1991) (EXAMPLE PAGE SHOWN BELOW).  The marvel UK transformers comics alone normally sell for approximately £3.00 an issue (eg 332 X £3.00 = £996.00 Or $1915.00 USD or 1487.00 Euros. Even then the issues 1-21 and 300-332 normally got for far higher prices due to their rarity as they were produced in far lower numbers, due to the print run just starting up and scaling down respectively.  Page scans as can be seen below are in full colour.  The quality of all pages is of the highest photo quality and is consistent throughout, to ensure maximum clarity even when zooming in.  No specialist software needed as this will be fully provided on dvd.

3) ALL 8 MARVEL UK TRANSFORMERS ANNUALS (1985-1992.  7 of these normally go for £5.00 apiece and the Much rarer 1992 annual with the Dinobots on the cover, produced after the comic stopped printing, normally changes hands at about £20.00 , making the entire lot worth £55.00 eg $105.00 USD or 82.00    Euros.

4) ALL 5 PARTS OF THE 1980s TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE PLUS PREVIOUSLY UNPUBLISHED MATERIAL : For anyone who doesn’t know,  “The Transformers Universe” was a 4 issue limited edition full colour US mini series that explained each transformers personality, abilities and weakneses, including characters up to the movie.  A further edition was released including the Headmasters. Targetmasters, etc but this is so rare I don’t think I’ve seen one on eBay.  In addition to this material was written for an unpublished sixth edition, that was only printed in the comics.  All the above is included and the entire collection is worth a minimum of £30.00, eg $58.00 USD or 45.00 Euros.

5)ALL 4 1980S UK ACTION FORCE/GI JOE CROSSOVER ISSUES.  In issue 125 of the 80’s UK comics a story concerning the mysterious reappearance of Megatron in the city of London started that was to continue in issues 24-27 of the British Action Force/GI Joe comic.  These are very rare and normally go for £4.00 apiece.  All 4 are included and so worth £16.00 (eg $31.00 USD or 24.00      Euros).

6)ALL 3 PARTS OF THE ORIGINAL1986 TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE COMIC ADAPTATION. Very rare, these normally go for about £7.00 apiece when they turn up and so all 3 parts together would cost you about £20.00 (eg $31.00 USD or 24.00 Euros).

7) COMPLETE TRANSFORMERS : THE MOVIE SOUNDTRACK. The Transformers the Movie Soundtrack was released at the same time as the movie (CDs not being particularly popular back then) on Record and Tape, containing all the songs and sound effect music from the film.  A lot of these have been accidentally destroyed now (Records get scratched and Tapes come undone) and so thise is a quite rare item that’s normally sold for about £20.00 on eBay,  (eg $31.00 USD or 24.00 Euros).

8 )ALL 4 PARTS OF THE US HEADMASTERS LIMITED SERIES. This was a 4 part limited edition mini series that explained the plight of a group of refugee Autobots who left Cybertron for the planet Nebulos, only to be chased there by the Decepticons !  In order to fight the Decepticons and maintain a peace treaty with the planets inhabitants, the awesome headmasters were created ! Obviously with all 4 copies of this changing hands for the normal £5.00 apiece the entire set would set you back about £20. (eg $31.00 USD or 24.00 Euros).

9 )ISSUES 138 TO 142 OF 1980S GI JOE/ACTION FORCE COMIC (TRANSFORMERS G2 CROSSOVER). This picks up immediately after issue 80 (or isse 332 of the UK Comics) and explains how Megatron got his new tank mode G2 form, and what happened after the Ark crashed in Canada.  All 5 issues normally go for £15.00 for all 5 (eg $29.00 USD or 22.00 Euros).

 

10)ALL 12 USA GENERATION 2 COMICS For those of you who don’t know the G2 line picked up immediately after issue 80 of the original 80’s US G1 comic. These are obviously rare as the G2 comic had a much lower print run than the original G1 comic.  This continues the story after issue 80 when the Pretender Bludgeon took over as Decepticon leader until being replaced by Megatron in his G2 tank form.   When you can find them they normally change hands for about £15.00 for issue 1 and £5.00 apiece for the rest, making all 12 issues worth £70.00 (eg $135.00 USD or 104.00 Euros). Well here they’re included for free ! 

 

11) ALL UK G2 COMICS . The UK had it’s own 5 part G2 comic ! This was a limited edition run as it was printed at a time when Transformers were experiencing a temporary downturn in popularity.  This picks up immediately after issue 332 of the 1980’s Transformers comics and continues the story after the Pretender Bludgeon takes over as Decepticon Leader.   All 5 parts are included here and when you’re lucky enough to find them they go for about £40.00 for all 5, eg $77.00 USD or 60.00 Euros.

12) ALL 7 DREAMWAVE G1 VOLUME 1 COMICS. The start of the now infamous now out of print Dreamwave series that triggered the recent upsurge in transformer popularity that directly lead to the upcoming film being commissioned ! The Dreamwave series was directly targeted at adult collectors and features mature stories starring your favourite characters.  There are numerous Dreamwave volumes published all of which are included here and each volume is described below.  All 7 issues of Volume one alone (don’t forget they’re now becoming more scarce as Dreamwave went bankrupt) will cost you approx £45.00 on eBay, eg $87.00 USD or 67.00 Euros.

13) ALL 6 DREAMWAVE G1 VOLUME 2 COMICS.  Volume 2 picks up directly after Volume 1 and details the tale of the Transformers eventual return to Cybertron, only to find the entire planet is held in a grip of iron by Shockwave !!  All 6 issues of this will normally cost approx £30.00 on eBay, eg $58.00 USD or 45.00 Euros

14) ALL 11 DREAMWAVE G1 VOLUME 3 COMICS. Picking up directly after the earth shattering events of Volume 2, all 11 issues of this detail how the Autobots deal with the destruction of the Ark and their ongoing struggle to control Decepticon Tyrrany on Earth.  This was published just before (along with the Age of Wrath, see point 18 below) Dreamwave declared bankruptcy and is extremely scarce.  I’ve seen a complete set of this go for £140.00 (eg $269.00 USD or 209.00 Euros)  before now, with decent condition copies becoming harder to find by the day.

15) ALL 8 ISSUES OF DREAMWAVE TRANSFORMERS “MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE” (THIS CHARACTERS ENTRY SHOWN IN LISTING AS AN EXAMPLE).  For those who don’t know this was Dreamwaves revised and thoroughly updated (Hasbro endorsed) republication of the 1980s Transformers Universe Books, only about 100 times better !! They covered the entire range from 1984-1991 and in doing to have included the profiles for all 393 G1 TRANSFORMERS (which you’ll receive all of).  Each entry is a thoroughly researched and totally exhaustive description of each characters powers and abilities.  Even individual micromasters have their own entries ! Transformers who have had several versions (eg normal Starscream and Pretender Starscream) also have separate entries. This runs to approx 480 pages and also includes explanations of transformer technology.  As an example of this when they first came out I thought pretenders were totally rubbish, but after reading the explanation of how pretender technology arose I now think they’re one of the cooler things about the TF universe. These books go for £5.00 apiece so for all 8 they’d obviously cost you £40.00 (eg $77.00 USD or 60.00 Euros)

16) ALL 7 ISSUES OF DREAMWAVE THE WAR WITHIN VOLUME 1 : The War Within is a complete collection of stories written by Transformers legend Simon Furman set millions of years ago before the original transformers came to earth, featuring them in their original cybertronic modes.  These stories have proven to be so popular the toys of the characters involved are presently being released as part of the Transformers : Titanium series.  Volume 1 deals with how Optimus Prime became Autobot leader and the opening days of the war.  All 7 comics will normally cost you when you can find them approx £45.00 on eBay eg $87.00      USD or 67.00 Euros.

17 ALL 6 ISSUES OF DREAMWAVE THE WAR WITHIN VOLUME 2 : THE DARK AGES. Volume 2 obviously picks up where volume 1 described above left off, and also introduces the charater of “The Fallen”, who’s shortly going to be released as a toy as part of the Transformers : Titanium line.  The 6 issues of this normally change hands for about £40.00  eg $76.00 USD or 59.99 Euros on eBay

18) ALL 3 ISSUES OF DREAMWAVE THE WAR WITHIN VOLUME 3 : THE AGE OF WRATH.  This along with Volume 3 of the G1 comic (see point 11 above) were the last comics to be produced just before Dreamwave went bankrupt and had a very limited production run, so they’re extremely difficult to locate as not many were printed.  These explain how the war very nearly came to an end millions of years before the original transformers came to Earth, only for the Decepticon army to be revitalized by a returning Megatron !!  As stated above these are very difficult to find and I’ve seen all 3 sell in the £35.00 eg $67.00 USD or 52.00 Euros on eBay before now.

19) ALL 4 ISSUES OF DREAMWAVE MICROMASTERS MINI-SERIES.  A 4 part mini-series explaining how the micromasters came to be created and how they were often viewed with contempt by the bigger ‘bots on both sides.  A collection of all 4 normally cost you approx £20.00 eg $38.00 USD or 30.00     Euros on eBay.

20) ALL 6 ISSUES OF DREAMWAVE TRANSFORMERS Vs GI JOE CROSSOVER.  An alternate “what if” tale explaining how things would have turned out if the Transformers had awoke in the Second World War !  All 6 copies normally sell on eBay in the region of  £30.00 eg $58.00 or 44.00 Euros.          

21)ALL 6 ISSUES OF DEVILS DUE GI JOE Vs TRANSFORMERS MINI-SERIES. Another “what if” tale in which the Ark and its slumbering inhabitants are discovered by Cobra, refitted to transform into Cobra vehicles and equipment and kept as their slaves !! All 6 copies normally sell on eBay in the region of  £30.00  eg $58.00 USD or 44 Euros.          

 

22) FULL INSTRUCTIONS FOR EVERY US/UK/JAPANESE TRANSFORMER EVER PRODUCED (532 TRANSFORMERS TOTAL) Including Fortress Maximus, Swoop. Shockwave etc and UK ranges and even including rare mailaways such as Reflector and rare Japanese and European exclusives such a Overlord.  I’ve done a quick count and so basically with this you also get instructions for 534 transformers !!!

23) 35 TOY ADVERTS.  All taoy adverts from the original 1984 line up up until the last days of the G1 line also included in full colour !!

24) ALL 60 FULL COUUR US AND JAPANESE TOY CATALOGUES. The entire US product range from the start to the end is included, as is the entire japanese range, which is massive as the Japanese had lots of transformers the rest of the world didn’t have !  Some of these items are so rare they hardly ever appear on eBay and so chances are there are penty of transformers featured here you will have never seen before !!

25) 1986 SPECIALIST PUBLICATION “HOW TO DRAW TRANSFORMERS”29 pages of insider tips and tricks from the transformer comic artists explaining with illustrated examples how to draw transformers from scratch.  I’m rubbish at art but I’ve got to admit by briefly following these examples I can draw a fairly decent Megatron in about 10 minutes.  A paper copy of this will cost you about

26) A COPY OF THE BRITISH PUBLICATION DR WHO 135. Ever wondered how Deaths Head went from being a Transformer sized mechanoid to human size ?  All’s explained here.  I’ve never even seen a copy of this on eBay, it’s that rare !

27) LIMITED EDITION 3D ISSUE “THE TEST ” This is a limited edition 3D Issue produced after the movie featuring characters from the movie onwards, such as Fortress Maximus and Ratbat. These had an extremely low production run and when copies turn up on eBay they normally sell for approx £15.00 apiece, eg $29.00 USD or 22 Euros.

28) 120 US/UKTV COMMERCIALS !! (Playable with Windows Media Player) Have you often dreamily thought back to the Transformers Adverts that used to play on the TV when you were a kid ?  Well here’s your chance to own them !!  Included are 120 (eg several years worth) full colour TV commercials from the entire US transformers run, even going as far as Beast Wars !!
