This amplifier has been fully serviced... by this we mean fully stripped, cleaned inspected and tested (at component level) and fully re built...
Brand new Hammond power transformer
All filter caps replaced with F&T's, cathode bypass were sprague atom's, any out of spec resistors were replaced with a carbon comp (era specific) and the leaking blocking caps replaced with orange drops where necessary,
This amplifier has had the 'Blackface' mods carried out
Bias balance to fixed bias control
Rebuild Phase splitter and feedback circuit
Capacitor swap in pre amp circuit,
Full set of new output valves JJ 6l6's
all pre amp tubes fitted are perfect condition (verified on our own AVO VCM163)
We have fully cleaned the original cabinet and rebuilt from the ground up including servicing the speakers (dust removal and clean down)... every part of this is spotless including the polished chrome! Please note upper rear panel is missing.
Amplifier has been fully tested and is working flawlessly!
