  • Ubuntu 12.04LTS is not supported anymore, but it picks up almost every system that is out there, new or old, better than the newer versions.  Once installed, you can upgrade to a newer supported version.   If your graphic card is so old that the newer version can not support it, it will prompt you during the upgrade process.
  • Do not buy this product if you have Apple hardware or Google Chrome Notebook.




If your PC system supports OS boot from USB, which most current and recent systems do, this 8GB USB pen drive will allow you to boot into Ubuntu Linux operating system. And then you can select to either install Ubuntu onto your hard drive or continue to load and operate your machine with Linux as if this USB pen drive is your system's hard drive.


Installing Ubuntu onto your hard drive increases future boot-up speed. If you like to boot from this 8GB USB stick, you can rest assured that the OS only takes up less than 1GB (about 700MB) -- so you still have lots of room for normal PC operation

  • We reserve the right to upgrade shipping method from USPS (or UPS) to Fedex -- you get better tracking details and/or insurance coverage.
  • Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO/PO BOX, and PR customers -- We can ship by USPS only
