Anwendung:

Kontaktklebstoff auf Polychloropren- (CR) Basis für die dauerelastische und hochfeste, Verklebung von Neopren, Gummi, Hypalon, Gewebe, Holz, Metall u.ä.

ACHTUNG: Nicht für PVC geeignet!

Durch Zugabe des optionalen Vernetzers ELASTOSAL Härter RFE kann die Klebfestigkeit, die Beständigkeit gegen Wärme, Weichmacher und Feuchtigkeit sowie die Haftung deutlich verbessert werden.

Eine Vorreinigung der zu verklebenden Materialien mittels des optionalen ELASTOSAL Lösit MEK empfiehlt sich.

Hinweis: soweit ein Datum auf der Ware angegeben ist, so ist es das Produktionsdatum (und nicht ein Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum).

Verarbeitung: 
1. Oberflächenvorbehandlung: Die zu verklebenden Flächen müssen sauber, trokken, fett- und ölfrei sein. Klebeflächen mit Reinigungsmittel (z.B. ELASTOSAL® Lösit MEK) abwaschen und abtrocknen lassen. Oberfläche je nach Möglichkeit leicht aufrauhen. Rauhstaub vollständig entfernen.

2. Mischen (nur bei Zugabe des Vernetzers): Mischungsverhältnis: Klebstoff: Vernetzer = 100 : 5 Gewichtsteile Die Gebrauchsdauer des Gemisches (Topfzeit) beträgt mindestens 2 Stunden bei geschlossenem Gebinde.

3. Auftrag und Trocknung: 2-3 Einstriche sind zu empfehlen. Trage eine dünne, gleichmäßige Schicht auf beide zu verklebenden Flächen auf. Den ersten Einstrich gut trocknen lassen (ca. 30 Minuten). Den letzten Einstrich kurz (ca. 5 min bei 21°C) trocknen lassen, dass er beim Fügen noch etwas klebrig ist, jedoch keine Fäden mehr zieht.

4. Fügen: Fügeteile passgenau zusammenlegen und gegeneinander mit kräftigen Kontaktdruck (z.B. mittels Roller oder Hammer) fügen. Dabei ist es wichtig, dass die Klebeflächen vollständigen Kontakt zueinander haben.

5. Und dann? Wir haben einiges ausprobiert und haben die besten Erfahrungen mit ausreichenden Ruhezeiten. Nach dem Kleben lassen wir den Arbeitsbereich z.B. mindestens 12 Stunden ruhen bevor wir den nächsten Schritt machen und z.B. die Armmanschette umdrehen und von innen sealen. Wir warten auch mindestens 24 Stunden bevor wir einen Dichtigkeitstest durchführen; dann geben wir wieder mindestens 12 Stunden Zeit zum Trocknen bevor wir ein gefundenes Leck weiter bearbeiten.

6. Und sonst? Achtung: Die empfohlenen Verarbeitungsbedingungen liegen bei 15 - 25°C und 30 - 65 % relativer Luftfeuchte. Bei extremen Witterungsbedingungen wie Kälte, Regen u.ä. sind am Arbeitsort durch entsprechende Schutzmaßnahmen wie einer zusätzlichen Überdachung, Warmluftzuführung u.a. die notwendigen Verarbeitungsbedingungen zu schaffen.

Application:

Contact adhesive based on polychloroprene (CR) for permanently elastic and high-strength bonding of neoprene, rubber, Hypalon, fabric, wood, metal, etc.

ATTENTION: Not suitable for PVC!

By adding the optional crosslinker ELASTOSAL Hardener RFE, the adhesive strength, resistance to heat, plasticizers and moisture as well as adhesion can be significantly improved.

Pre-cleaning of the materials to be bonded using the optional ELASTOSAL Lösit MEK is recommended.

Processing:
1. surface pre-treatment: The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free of grease and oil. Wash bonding surfaces with cleaning agent (e.g. ELASTOSAL® Lösit MEK) and allow to dry. If possible, roughen the surface slightly. Remove rough dust completely.

2. mix (only when adding the crosslinker): Mixing ratio: adhesive: crosslinker = 100 : 5 parts by weight The working time of the mixture (pot life) is at least 2 hours when the container is closed.

3. application and drying: 2-3 coats are recommended. Apply a thin, even coat to both surfaces to be bonded. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly (approx. 30 minutes). Allow the last coat to dry briefly (approx. 5 minutes at 21°C) so that it is still slightly tacky when joining, but no longer stringy.

4. joining: Place the parts to be joined together accurately and join them together with strong contact pressure (e.g. using a roller or hammer). It is important that the bonding surfaces are in full contact with each other.

5 And then? We have tried a few things and have the best experience with sufficient resting times. For example, after bonding, we let the work area rest for at least 12 hours before we take the next step and, for example, turn the arm sleeve over and seal it from the inside. We also wait at least 24 hours before carrying out a leak test; then we again allow at least 12 hours to dry before continuing to work on a leak that has been found.

6. and otherwise? Attention: The recommended processing conditions are 15 - 25°C and 30 - 65 % relative humidity. In extreme weather conditions such as cold, rain, etc., the necessary processing conditions must be created at the work site by means of appropriate protective measures such as an additional roof, warm air supply, etc.  Otherwise, if you are unsure or something doesn't work out, it is better to wait and contact us - we will be happy to help...
