The Low Voltage 12 Volt L.E.D Load Resistors are designed to overcome problems relating to load sensitive flasher systems where low current L.E.D lamps have been fitted.One of the biggest advantages of L.E.D lamps is their low current draw, however this can cause new problems in the electrical system. When converting incandescent lamps to L.E.D the flasher may not recognise the L.E.D lamp as it relies on a load to detect ‘globe outage’ resulting in fast flashing indicators or a warning lamp turning on at the dash.
The best solution is to fit a non-load sensitive flasher or a flasher with a measured load matching the L.E.D load, but this is not always practical as many flashers are built into the vehicle’s onboard computer.The purpose built Low Voltage Brand of L.E.D Load Resistors are a simple and effective solution to this problem, replacing the load that has been reduced by fitting L.E.D lamp replacements for standard incandescent lamps.
Suitable for direction indicator and brake light circuits, L.E.D Load Resistors are designed to draw the same current as a 21 watt incandescent globe, correcting any problems with low current draw. Built into an aluminium heat sink housing, the new Load Resistors are supplied with 2 wire tap connectors and 300mm of cable each end. They should be mounted on a heat resistant metal surface connecting the earth to the chassis and the indicator wire with the wire taps supplied.

Connection Instruction:
One resistor is required for each LED turn signal bulb. Connect one wire to ground and the other wire to the turn/brake wire. You can use the T taps so you do not have to cut your car's wiring.
