This is a 4 3/8" chine plate in superb condition, always cabineted, with the classic delfts victorian era illustration featuring a tableau of a young boy as a fisherman, pipe in hand, standing portside facing a young girl of the same age in the traditional feminine garb of Holland. Traditional, charming, and at 4 3/8" just the tight size for the curio cabinet, the china cabinet, or a fanciful antique cheese plate with a story to tell!
