Selmer C* "Long Shank" Soloist Tenor Sax Mouthpiece

You are bidding on a vintage 1960s Selmer Soloist "Long Shank" tenor saxophone mouthpiece, made by Henri Selmer of Paris. The tip opening is C* and as you can see, the throat of the chamber is the classic, horseshoe-shaped archway. Long shanks play a lot better than the newer Selmer mouthpieces for jazz or classical music. You may be interested to learn that the C* model was included with all the French (Paris) Selmer Mark VI saxophones made during the 1960s.
