I have a long history in the fragrance industry, am a member of the International Perfume Bottle Association (IPBA) and am an avid collector of vintage and antique perfume and scent bottles. My items are smoke-free and guaranteed original and authentic. If you are not completely satisfied, you will receive a prompt, full refund.

Up for immediate purchase is this lovely, approximately 45 percent full, 1950s vintage, long discontinued, with presentation box, guaranteed authentic, 0.50-ounce (15g) bottle of Scandal Extrait de Lanvin. This is the rare, older bottle style without the gold-tone collar and with a glass stopper (versus a screw-top cap). All photos were taken at 40x magnification in natural light to best illustrate item condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.

This elegant glass bottle, with embossed black glass stopper, is classified as ‘full-size’ within the extrait category. It stands 2.5 inches tall.

The paper presentation box is structurally sound and in good condition. It does have some very light surface staining (see photos). It still contains its original fluff of tissue paper tucked inside the upper portion of the box. The base portion of the box reads: LANVIN – PARIS; MY SCANDAL; 15gr. ENV. P. FLACON; MADE IN FRANCE.

The earlier, shiny silver label with dark blue embossed lettering is fully intact and in nice condition. The base of the bottle is properly embossed: Lanvin France.

Originally launched in 1931, Scandal is classified as a leather chypre scent with top notes of bergamot, lemon, neroli, mandarin and clary sage; heart notes of Russian leather, iris, rose and ylang-ylang on base notes of incense, oakmoss, vanilla, vetiver and benzoin.
